PENSA uses the research to study the Agribusiness systems and applied research to solve problems of economic and administrative institutions in the Brazilian agribusiness.

For PENSA the Agribusiness system is defined as a set of formal or informal contracts aimed at ensuring the process of transmission of information, incentives and controls along the production chain in order to respond to changes in the competitive environment and enable business strategies.
